Seaton Delaval Christmas Lights Launch Event ’07

The Seaton Delaval Christmas Lights Launch Event was an excellent event, a large crowd turned out to see Councillor Priscilla Marie Isles , Mayor of Blyth Valley Bourgh Council switch on the lights. After the lights were switched on there was a good fireworks display with refreshments. Overall it was a brilliant evening.

Seaton Delaval Christmas Lights ’07

The Seaton Delaval Christmas Lights will be switched on at the launch event on Sunday 25th November ’07 By the Mayor of Blyth Valley. Refreshments will be available. There will also be a fireworks display.

New Toilets At Community Center

New Toilet facilities are being fitted including a disabled toilet at the Community Center (Institute).

Senior Citizens Christmas Party ’07

Seghill Senior Citizens Christmas Party, for senior Seghill Residents, is going to be held at the Community Center (Institute) on 8th December 2007, 4-8pm. Table Top Sale – New Hartley

A Table Top Sale will be held on Sunday 25th November 2007 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at New Hartley Community Centre. Admission is Free all welcome.  Refreshments will be available .

Craft Fair – New Hartley

A Craft Fair will be held on Saturday 13th October 2007 between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm at New Hartley Community Centre.

Entry is £1.00 which includes a raffle ticket. Children are free.

Blyth In New Light 2007 – An excellent evening

Following the success of last year’s event, this year went beyond expectations; with many brilliant fireworks, lighting displays, excellent entertainment, an ice rink and a continental market many people were very impressed. The event was funded and managed by the NewcastleGateshead Initiative and Blyth Valley Council. There are also lighting displays on at Cragside Estate, Warkworth Castle and Walltown Quarry.
