1st Seghill Scouts group

The 1st Seghill Scouts group is based at Scout Hut, Pit Lane, Seghill.

The group meets every Monday from 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

Seghill Walking Group
Seghill Walking Group Walks every Friday at 10am from Netherfield House Surgery, Seghill (Blake Arms carpark) The Blyth Valley Walkers walk locally every week, but every six weeks we have an ‘away day’ which involves a trip into rural Northumberland…only then do we make a small charge to cover the cost of the bus. All the local walks are FREE! If you would like to join us on a local walk, please just turn up wearing comfortable shoes and dressed for the weather.For further information, please contact:

Seghill Rugby Club
Seghill Rugby Club provide training and playing for rugby union from the age of 9 years upwards. They also provide facilities for other sports and community groups.The Club meets on Tuesdays 7.00 – 9.00pm, Thursdays 7.00 – 9.00pm, Saturdays 1.00 – 5.00pm and Sundays 10.30-12.00 noon, at Segnill Rugby Club, Welfare Park, Seghill.

Seghill Judo Club
The Seghill Judo Club are a group who provide instruction in the marial art of Judo.The group meet at Seghill Community Centre (Institute) on Mondays from 6.30 – 8.30 pm.

Positvely pets
Positively Pets offer pet, puppy and dog training classes.The group runs on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at Seghill Institute.

New starters and Sunday lunchtimes at another venue.

Seghill Community Drop In
Seghill Drop In is run by parents in the village. The group runs from Seghill Institute and provides a welcoming environment where parents can meet socially and plan activities. A creche is provided for the children.The Drop In is closed at the moment and the group are currently applying for funding to start up the sessions in Autumn 2007.

Seghill Institute & Community Association
The association is responsible for the running of the Community Centre (Institute) and other community related matters.The centre and its facilities are available for a wide range of activities and events.

The Community Association are always on the lookout for anyone willing to help in any way.

Seghill Aged Persons & Childrens Treats Association

The group meets every two weeks at Seghill Community Centre (Institute) on Monday evenings, from 7.00 pm. The group organises the annual village children’s gala on the first weekend of June every year. They also organise the annual senior citizens christmas party in December at the Community Centre (Institute). The group have various fundraising events throughout the year. The group would welcome anyone who would be willing to help in any way.
